Gastroenterology and Hepatology Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

AdventHealth Central Florida is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology and Hepatology Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
Responsibilities- Patient Care: Perform physical examinations, evaluate and treat patients with GI-related conditions, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Treatment and Referral: Treat patients with various conditions related to the digestive system, liver functions, and esophagus, and make referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians and staff to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff, and establish effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
- Schedule and Flexibility: Work a Monday-to-Friday schedule, with flexibility to cover Altamonte Springs and Lake Mary areas, and participate in a call rotation.
- Education and Experience: Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies, and 2-4 years of experience as an APRN or PA-C in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
- Licensure and Certification: Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license, ANCC, NCCPA (or equivalent) certification, and current BLS.
