Gastroenterology and Hepatology Physician Assistant

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Gastroenterology and Hepatology team at AdventHealth Celebration. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform physical examinations and evaluate and treat patients with GI-related conditions in the hospital.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory and X-ray.
- Treat patients with various conditions related to the digestive system, liver functions, and esophagus.
- Monitor patients' treatment and make referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to provide consistent care and support.
- Display a caring and professional attitude and maintain personal and professional growth.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
- Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license.
- ANCC, NCCPA (or equivalent) certification.
- Current BLS.
