About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development and Marketing Assistant to join our team at Volunteers of America Oklahoma (VOAOK). As a key member of our Resource Development Department, you will play a critical role in supporting our President/CEO and driving our fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the President/CEO and Resource Development Department, including correspondence, social media, and event-related needs.
  • Develop and implement effective donor engagement strategies, including donor acknowledgment letters and management of our donor database system, Blackbaud RENXT.
  • Assist in the planning and logistics of large fundraising events, ensuring a high level of donor experience and engagement.
  • Support the Resource Development Department Director and CEO, and serve as a back-up to the receptionist desk as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a development or fundraising role, with donor administration and event support.
  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
