About the Role

As a Registered Nurse Ortho-Trauma-Spine, you will be responsible for coordinating the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit, ensuring that each individual receives high-quality, efficient care. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care, exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the physical, psychological, educational, and safety needs of patients.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • 1 year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification.
