Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. As a key member of our Day Surgery Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures
  • Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and scientific judgment to deliver safe and effective care
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in unit and organizational activities to promote a positive image of nursing
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 1 year of experience in an acute care medical/surgical setting
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or multi-state compact license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • PALS certification preferred
