Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Sustainability Analyst to join our team at the Department of the Navy. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in analyzing data and reporting on sustainability metrics, identifying opportunities for improving sustainability practices, and developing and delivering training programs to educate employees about sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data and reporting on sustainability metrics, such as energy consumption, water usage, waste reduction, and carbon footprint.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving sustainability practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about sustainability practices.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management and external stakeholders, using data insights to guide decision-making and enhance sustainability programs.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience successfully implementing sustainability and/or environmental programs from initiation to final execution demonstrating problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) System and its relationship to systems and facilities acquisition and program management requirements.
