Position Overview:
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer autonomously conducts engineering tasks focused on strategizing, developing, or modifying techniques to optimize manufacturing efficiency. This role involves assessing machinery, workflows, operations, and assembly processes to identify potential improvements in time and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise designated manufacturing sectors and procedures.
2. Spearhead the design and construction of manufacturing process tools and methodologies.
3. Direct troubleshooting efforts for systems and machinery.
4. Source components and materials for engineering initiatives, collaborating with suppliers to gather pricing and product details.
5. Execute manufacturability assessments on new product designs.
6. Collaborate closely with Design Engineering during the manufacturability evaluations.
7. Conduct process validations and manage process risk assessments.
8. Develop clear plans, designs, calculations, and analyses adhering to established codes, standards, drawings, or specifications.
9. Create and uphold Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routers, ensuring precision and compliance with accepted standards.
10. Perform engineering calculations to address routine engineering challenges.
11. Actively participate as a member of the product development team, engaging with cross-functional teams on various projects.
12. Assist in the creation of engineering drawings and specifications.

Independence:
Operates with minimal supervision, receiving broad project and technical directives while adhering to defined standards and specifications.

Leadership Authority:
May assign tasks and review the output of a small team of technicians or assistants. May also take on project management responsibilities, leading a multidisciplinary team.

Required Qualifications:
This position necessitates an individual with:

A master's degree in engineering accompanied by 5 years of relevant engineering experience OR a bachelor's degree in engineering with 8 years of pertinent engineering experience.


Compensation and Benefits:
Minimum compensation rates will align with local regulations, if higher than the specified range.
