Key Responsibilities:

  • Lubricates and applies grease to moving components of mechanical systems, including bearings, sprockets, drive chains, gears, and pulleys, following established protocols and verbal directions.
  • Examines tools, machinery, and parts for any signs of damage or wear, reporting findings to Supervisors.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of all components in designated areas.
  • Utilizes industrial vacuum trucks for the cleaning of fluid tanks and spill response operations.
  • Operates powered industrial trucks for the transportation of fluids and supplies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid driver's license and certification to operate a lift truck.
  • Proficient in using computers and software; capable of reading and understanding simple instructions and correspondence; able to write basic communications; effective in presenting information in small group settings.
  • Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in various units of measure; ability to compute percentages and interpret graphical data.
  • Ability to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

In this role, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling tasks, reach with arms, and climb to various heights.
