Job Title: Salesperson

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, achieving sales goals, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store sales objectives.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and counting merchandise.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping experience.
  • Operate a cash register, credit card machine, and other point-of-sale equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
