Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory systems, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory systems and develop treatment plans to improve lung function and overall health
  • Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures to assess respiratory function
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
