Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, pneumonia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Illinois.
  • 1+ year of experience working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with a 3x12 hour shift schedule.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
