Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at FreshPoint, a Sysco Company. As a CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load and unload products from the trailer, using hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Communicate with management and other drivers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • 21+ years of age.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-year customer delivery experience.
  • 6 months of hand cart/hand truck experience.
  • 6 months of Food and Beverage experience.
  • 2 years consistent work history.
