Job Description

This role involves working in a lead capacity to qualify alternate electronic and mechanical components for medical products. The successful candidate will exercise independent judgment in reviewing technical specification sheets, creating change impact documentation, and leading reviews with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review technical specification sheets and qualify alternate components based on recommendations.
  • Coordinate and lead the utilization of internal/external resources to achieve project goals.
  • Understand business needs and customer/clinical requirements for projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to review and support organizational goals.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on technical matters, interfacing with senior management and external agencies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of real work experience in a related field.
  • Experience with cGMP, FDA, and ISO13485 regulations.
  • Good knowledge of general engineering principles.
  • Medical device regulatory experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Pay Range: $60 to $65 per hour.
