About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our esteemed organization, where you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional mental health services to our valued clients. This position is designed for professionals who are passionate about providing comprehensive care to individuals facing complex psychiatric and substance use challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, offering precise diagnoses and effective crisis interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within the Psychiatric Evaluation Center to ensure holistic patient management.
- Perform safety and risk evaluations for individuals presenting in emergency situations.
- Assess and triage patients experiencing acute suicidal ideation.
- Provide occasional coverage for inpatient psychiatric care as needed.
- Offer psychiatric consultation services on an as-needed basis.
- Administer and oversee treatment protocols, including Ketamine and Esketamine therapies.
- Deliver Electric Convulsive Therapy (ECT) as part of treatment options.
Work Schedule: This position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities as required.

Conditions of Employment:

- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Successful candidates may be required to complete a probationary period.
- Background and security investigations will be conducted.
- Online onboarding processes must be completed prior to starting.
- A pre-employment physical examination is required.
- Participation in vaccination programs for influenza and COVID-19 is mandatory for all healthcare personnel.
