We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional at Innovative Human Services, LLC.
As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with mental illness in our short-term community homes. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with independent living skills, setting healthy social boundaries, budgeting, attending medical appointments, grocery shopping, and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and medication management
- Support residents in developing healthy relationships and social skills
- Accompany residents to medical appointments and other activities
- Assist with budgeting and financial management
- Provide emotional support and guidance to residents
To be successful in this role, you will need to have some experience working with mental health, be at least 18 years old, and have a strong desire to help others. A valid driver's license is preferred but not required for all positions.
