Position Overview:

The Ergonomics Specialist will play a crucial role in delivering technical support, conducting comparative analyses, and ensuring adherence to Human Factors certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comparative analyses on design concepts
  • Develop part task simulation assessments utilizing software and physical prototypes
  • Implement suitable data evaluation techniques
  • Design and execute part task and/or simulator testing protocols
  • Draft engineering documentation to validate compliance with industry standards
  • Leverage industry design guidelines and regulations to enhance design elements
  • Create standards and guidelines for ergonomics methodologies

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in fundamental research methodologies and engagement with human subjects
  • Strong ability to articulate technical ideas effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the aviation/aerospace sector
  • Familiarity with biomechanics and simulation tools
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Flight experience is advantageous

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field is required, with advanced degrees being advantageous.
