Job Summary:

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Shipping/Receiving Clerk. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate flow of goods and materials from receiving into inventory and from our manufacturing facilities to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Unpacking: Receive and unpack shipments, verify accuracy, and record shipment details.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, report discrepancies, and update records as necessary.
  • Shipping and Receiving Orders: Create, update, and process paper and online shipping and receiving orders from domestic and international suppliers and customers.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate pickups, track shipments, and troubleshoot problems by contacting suppliers and shipping companies.
  • Warehouse Operations: Store materials on stockroom shelves and bins, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and perform stockroom tasks such as picking orders and cycle counting.
  • Inventory Reviews: Conduct periodic inventory reviews to ensure warehouse balances and accuracy.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain organized paper files, follow detailed procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse management principles and practices.
  • Related experience and/or training in inventory control, shipping, and receiving procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as PRMS or SAP preferred.
  • Previous experience with online shipping systems preferred.
