Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our ECHO Program at Carle Foundation Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative speech/language services for children with educationally significant hearing loss.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize child's use of amplification devices
  • Collaborate with parents and team members to obtain necessary information to develop speech, language, and listening targets
  • Provide consultative services and coordinate activities with outside agencies
  • Travel may be required for direct and/or consultative early intervention service in the patient's natural environment
  • Act as second tester for audiograms, perception testing, and cochlear implant programming for patients of various ages
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License Illinois upon hire and Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) within 1 year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) within 30 days
  • Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or completion of master's level training program in speech language pathology
