Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Carle Foundation Hospital is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing direct speech/language pathology services to patients of all ages who are referred to the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plans and implements individualized treatment programs to restore or maximize each patient's functional skills.
  • Administers daily treatment, ensuring that the treatment plan is age-appropriate and adjusted as necessary to meet the changing needs of the patient.
  • Communicates with physicians, team members, and other professionals to share information and achieve optimum care for the patient.
  • Selects and administers appropriate assessment procedures to assess the abilities and limitations of patients of all ages.
  • Completes all documentation according to departmental policy.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
  • Speech Language Pathology (SLP) License or eligible upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
Work Environment:

This position is located at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington, IL. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with occasional weekend and holiday requirements.
