Speech Language Pathologist

The ECHO Speech Language Pathologist provides comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative speech/language services for children with educationally significant hearing loss. This role involves consultative services, coordinating activities with outside agencies, and travel for direct and/or consultative early intervention services. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology, SLP License, and Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP. Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or completion of a master's level training program in speech language pathology is required. The successful candidate will communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and project a positive image and high degree of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
* Selects, administers, and interprets diagnostic assessments across all communication areas.
* Works with parents and team members to develop speech, language, and listening targets that optimize the child's use of amplification devices.
* Analyzes expressive and receptive semantic and syntactic skills at various levels through formal and informal measures.
* Writes treatment plans, updates progress weekly, completes diagnostic reports, and maintains chart note documentation in the electronic medical record.
* Provides repeated successful practice and utilizes audition as the primary pathway to expanding language and communication skills during therapy sessions.
Requirements:
* Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
* SLP License
* Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP
* Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist or completion of a master's level training program in speech language pathology
