Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardiovascular Services team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with physicians to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise to patients and their families, working under standardized privileges.
  • Collaborate with the physician team to deliver comprehensive patient care, including physical evaluations, ordering and interpreting test results, and performing or assisting with surgical and invasive procedures.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the continuum of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and protocols, applying evidence-based practice to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Physician Assistant Program.
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare, with a focus on perioperative/surgical services.
  • Preferred experience in cardiovascular services.
  • Current certifications and licensures, including PA Physician Assistant, CPA Certified Physician Assistants, and BLS Basic Life Support.
