Job Title: Principal Engineer Quality

At Northrop Grumman, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer Quality to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, modifying, and maintaining customized or standardized embedded mission systems for space vehicle applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements development, modeling and design, application development, unit to CSCI testing, integration, formal system testing, release, installation, and maintenance.
  • Architect and develop embedded mission systems software applications on a real-time operating system.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers to develop and maintain complex software systems.
  • Experience with Agile Software Development, object-oriented architectures, designs, programming, debugging, and hardware-software integration and testing.
  • Experience with software change control, change management, code quality, static analysis, and CI/CD tools such as DOORs, Software Requirement Specification Testing using Simulators, automated scripting languages, and Static & Dynamic Code Analysis Tools and Fuzzing Tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Software Engineering or related STEM discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • Experience with at least two of the following programming or scripting languages: C, C++, and Python.
