Job Summary:The Med Surg RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Current Iowa RN license
- BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
The Med Surg RN will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, with a holiday rotation. The pay period is Sunday through Saturday.
