Faculty Position in Laryngology

We are seeking a highly qualified Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained clinician-scientist Laryngologist to join our faculty at the Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences at Duke University Medical Center.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an expanding and established laryngology program and multi-disciplinary Voice Center in an internationally renowned academic facility. The selected candidate will have relationships with colleagues who have received worldwide recognition for their research and patient care.

The faculty member will be based at the Duke University Medical Center and related clinics, joining two established laryngologists and a team of Speech-Language Pathologists at the Duke Voice Care Center. The opportunity exists to participate in and grow collaborative multi-disciplinary subspecialty clinics in the scope of laryngology, including voice, airway, and swallowing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in clinical care, research, and teaching of medical students, surgery residents, and ancillary staff.
  • Develop a translational research program to complement research programs within the Department and Duke University.
  • Teach and mentor fellows, residents, medical students, and other related trainees.
