We are seeking a dynamic and skilled pathologist to join our team at Duke Health Integrated Practice. As a Community Surgical Pathologist, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate and timely pathology services to patients and their physicians.

About the Opportunity

This full-time position is based at Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Hospital located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Our community practice is comprised of seven pathologists dedicated to delivering exceptional care and services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and timely pathology services to patients and their physicians
  • Collaborate with our team of pathologists to ensure seamless care and services
  • Participate in teaching and resident education opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of our community practice
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Valid NC medical license or qualifications to obtain one
  • ABP Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and superior communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in oncologic surgical pathology, specifically breast and gynecologic pathology, and/or subspecialty fellowship training in cytopathology
