Key Responsibilities:- Collect blood samples from adult and pediatric patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
- Identify and label specimens accurately, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Communicate effectively with patients, laboratory staff, and medical staff to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in the instruction of new personnel and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
- Perform EKG and spirometry procedures, as well as other related tasks, to support the laboratory's operations.
- 1+ year of phlebotomy experience (additional education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement).
- Certification from an accredited phlebotomy diploma program (preferred).
- A competitive hourly rate of $16.00 to $28.27 per hour (New York residents only).
