We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Houseman Setup Specialist to join our team at Holiday Inn Express - Sheraton - DoubleTree. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet rooms to ensure a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and break down banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, dance floors, and audio-visual equipment, according to customer contracts.
  • Clear and clean banquet rooms, including vacuuming and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests as needed.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient event execution.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and customer contracts.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to begin work between 5-6am.
  • A/V knowledge is a plus, but not required.
