Job Title: Project Construction Superintendent

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Construction Superintendent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety regulations and rules are followed, identifying project risks, and mitigating or eliminating risk to the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safety regulations and rules are followed, inspecting projects for safety compliance and escalating concerns.
  • Identify project risks and proactively mitigate or eliminate risk to the project.
  • Participate and lead field walks and meetings, as well as construction project meetings.
  • Resolve jobsite issues and emergencies.
  • Perform project sign-off walks with project owners, schedule and perform permit walks with regulatory agencies, and track to ensure all permits are complete prior to sign-off.
Requirements
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 5+ years of construction/high-tech tool install experience or Journeyman license and 1 year of construction experience.
  • Expert understanding of 6S methodology, its components, and customer's 6S procedures.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, as well as strong written communication skills and effectively communicate with project stakeholders.
  • Proficient knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, preferably Autodesk BIM 360, as well as Navis Works or comparable 3D viewing software.
  • Working knowledge of procurement software, construction materials, means and methods, as well as expert knowledge of construction codes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Semiconductor 300mm tool install experience in a leadership role.
  • Cleanroom construction and high-tech tool install experience.
  • Journeyman license.
Physical Effort/Activities

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work in constrictive attire, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, have strong manual dexterity as he/she will be occasionally required to work at elevated heights (ladders, stools or other assistive devices).
