Summary:

The Project Management Specialist will play a vital role in coordinating and estimating data for construction and specialized initiatives associated with Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI). This position serves as an essential bridge between field teams, contractors, and upper management, ensuring that all expenses and modification requests meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engages collaboratively with project and construction leaders, along with contractors.
  • Aids in establishing site estimates and outlining project scopes of work in partnership with the construction manager.
  • Manages all required documentation and data entries utilizing designated tracking systems.
  • Oversees the provision of utilities for each EVCI initiative.
  • Facilitates project planning, design, and procurement activities, including the development of project plans, bidding documents, and specifications within the EVCI Division.
  • Administers purchase orders for external contractors in consultation with Construction Managers.
  • Effectively communicates project requirements with Construction Managers.
  • Participates in meetings to deliver updates on project development and status.
  • Undertakes other assigned job-related responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of pertinent experience.
  • Expertise in project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Understanding of construction regulations and codes at federal, state, and local levels.
  • Strong multitasking skills to manage multiple site projects concurrently.
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in scheduling and budgeting software.
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems for inventory oversight.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and coordination capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word & Excel.
  • Willingness to travel between job sites daily, with potential for overnight travel.
