About the Role

We are seeking a chemist to provide research support to our core chemistry platform. This individual will be responsible for functional characterization of custom organic additives used in electroplating applications. The successful candidate will perform electrochemical testing and electrodeposition optimization of plating bath formulations synthesized by our R&D team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for process development, optimization, and troubleshooting of new and existing products.
  • Responsible for characterizing newly synthesized plating additives electrochemically and functionally.
  • Perform electrodeposition of metals and perform basic surface metrology of various metals.
  • Work closely with R&D teams to define boundary conditions of products and provide input to product development teams.
  • Follow internal ISO processes for new product development.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree, preferably a BS degree in Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a laboratory.
Competencies
  • A team player able to work effectively and constructively with other team members and other functions in the company.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capability to develop and maintain internal and external business relationships.
