Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare food service team at Thomas Cuisine. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing nutritional care and guidance to patients for their overall health and well-being.

This team member will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing individualized diet plans, and providing nutrition therapy and counseling to patients with various medical conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of physiology, tube feeding, health coaching, aliment, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Wage range: $32-$36 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate their nutritional needs and develop individualized diet plans.
  • Provide nutrition therapy and counseling to patients with various medical conditions.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust diet plans as needed.
  • Educate patients on healthy eating habits, food selection, and preparation techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with the latest research in nutritional science and dietary guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification.
  • State licensure as a dietitian where required.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, tube feeding, health coaching, aliment, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
