Position Overview:
As a Line Cook Supervisor, you will oversee and manage the activities of kitchen staff and culinary operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring that food is presented beautifully and meets our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate the tasks of cooks and kitchen personnel.
2. Determine presentation styles for dishes and create appealing food displays.
3. Ensure appropriate portion sizes, arrangement, and garnishing of food.
4. Monitor food preparation quantities and communicate with service staff regarding menu specials and availability.
5. Prepare special meals or substitute items as needed.
6. Assist kitchen staff with various culinary tasks and provide necessary supplies.
7. Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and food items.
8. Keep kitchen logs to comply with food safety standards and ensure product quality.

Team Leadership:
Assist management in the recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, and motivation of kitchen staff. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Safety and Standards:
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security. Report any maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management. Complete required safety training and certifications.

Professional Conduct:
Maintain a clean and professional appearance. Uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information and protect company assets. Address guest service needs with professionalism and clarity.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Capable of reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending and twisting. Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications:
- Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
- Experience: 4 to 6 years in a related culinary role
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership position
- Certification: None required
