Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Run Specialist to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a Run Specialist, you will be responsible for providing level 1 and 2 application support to our business users, analyzing and managing functional and technical incidents/problems/requests, and contributing to software releases and other planned activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents and requests from business users and other IT teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to our operations.
  • Application Support: Provide level 1 and 2 application support to our business users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Problem Management: Analyze and manage functional and technical incidents/problems/requests, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Application Monitoring: Monitor and deploy applications, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Release Management: Contribute to software releases and other planned activities, ensuring our applications are updated and functioning correctly.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain a knowledge base for each application in our scope, ensuring that our team has access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our build team to assess the priority of problems and follow up on resolution, contributing to the definition of long-term solutions.
Requirements
  • ITIL Certification: Hold a valid ITIL certification, demonstrating your expertise in IT service management.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with business users and other IT teams.
  • Technical Skills: Have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office, incident management tools, and other reporting tools, as well as experience with Linux/Unix, Database, PL/SQL, Middleware, File Transfer, and batch/Job Scheduling.
  • Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Business Acumen: Have a strong understanding of general banking and finance, including trade life cycle, financial products, and capital market FO/BO systems.
Working Hours

We operate on a standard working hours schedule, with options for 8:45am - 6:30pm or 7:30am - 5:30pm SGT.
