  • Work closely with clinical staff to create and refine medical protocols.

Qualifications:

SCF is committed to serving a primary population of Alaska Native individuals. A deep understanding of the cultural nuances and healthcare needs of this community is essential to fulfill SCF's vision of promoting holistic wellness.

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree is mandatory.
  • Must hold a valid medical license in the State of Alaska.
  • Current board certification in a relevant medical specialty is required.
  • Fulfill all criteria for obtaining medical staff membership and privileges.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential; additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, and PALS may be required based on specialty.
  • A minimum of two years of post-residency experience as a practicing physician, or demonstrated proficiency in a similar role.

Health Compliance:

Adherence to SCF's Employee Health protocols is mandatory for employment. Candidates must agree to complete all necessary health screenings and immunizations prior to commencing work. This includes documentation of immunizations for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and T-dap.
