Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership in reviewing new regulations and making decisions regarding their adoption and implementation.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor internal controls for compliance with institutional, federal, and state regulations and policies.
- Lead program and policy assessment to support compliance and mitigate risk.
- Report to the Director of Student Financial Services.
- Bachelor's degree in a related or specialized field and five years' related or specific experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Financial aid, accounting, and/or auditing experience.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong sense of self-motivation.
- Previous employment in a higher education setting.
- Experience with Banner student information system preferable.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
- Strong desktop and office automation skills.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and tools.
- Experience with Banner student information system highly desirable.
This is an exempt position eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy. A background check is required for this position.
