Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented hotel front desk representative to enhance our guest services team at Hampton Inn & Suites, Brigham City.

Your role will involve welcoming guests, managing their accounts, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints to ensure an outstanding experience for every visitor.

You should possess strong communication skills and a genuine passion for prioritizing guest satisfaction.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time hours. Morning shifts are from 7 am to 3 pm, and evening shifts from 3 pm to 11 pm. Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management:
Maintain precise records of all guest account details.

  • Handle room reservations in-person, online, and via phone, while addressing inquiries regarding guest needs, including room availability, amenities, rates, special requests, and loyalty programs.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints as necessary.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared for incoming guests.
  • Welcome, check-in, and check-out guests, distribute keys and room assignments, and securely record payment information.

Qualifications

  • Experience in handling phone inquiries and managing stressful situations.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Minimum one year of experience in the hospitality sector as a hotel front desk representative or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  • Strong time management, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
