The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye examinations, providing sight tests, offering advice on visual issues, and prescribing eyewear. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with patients, medical and security staff, and consulting physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients' eyes to identify issues and detect signs of general health conditions.
- Obtain detailed case histories from patients and use specialized equipment for diagnosis.
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other corrective eyewear as needed.
- Perform other required duties to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Current state Optometry license.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Minimum 3 years of optometry practice experience.
- Experience in recognizing shock and fainting symptoms.
