Lead Financial Operations for a Dynamic Telecommunications Company

This is an exceptional opportunity to drive financial success for a rapidly growing telecommunications company. We're seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller to join our team in this critical role, reporting to the CFO. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll oversee all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and control functions, contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage external audits and liaise with auditors to address any findings or recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and ensure compliance with changes in regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications:
  • CPA license required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining internal controls and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite or some other ERP systems preferred.
