R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in Osceola, AR.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a customer base, negotiating agreements for switching services and managing operating budgets.
  • Supervise daily operations, including crew scheduling and coordination with local railroads for empty railcar placement.
  • Ensure safe working environments by establishing procedures for track protection and communication.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including AAR, FRA, and OSHA.
  • Train and retain switching crew personnel, maintaining customer relationships and monitoring daily operations.
  • Produce timely reports to monitor switching operation performance and enforce work safety and conduct rules.
Requirements:
  • Three to five years of experience in train handling, including at least two years as a supervisor of train operations.
  • Knowledge of transportation rules, regulations, and guidelines, including OSHA, AAR, FRA, and DOT.
  • Ability to develop teamwork and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Basic computer data entry and retrieval skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
