This position entails the technical development and management of cloud infrastructure, significant engagement in Kubernetes orchestration, and ensuring flawless product integration and dependability. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in fostering technical advancement and operational excellence as the organization expands.

This is a HYBRID position with onsite requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, oversee, and enhance our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring peak performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support our code-first philosophy for continuous integration/continuous delivery, improving deployment methodologies and automation.
  • Direct Kubernetes cluster management, applying best practices in container orchestration, scaling, and network security.
  • Work alongside development teams to integrate the latest enhancements into our platform, ensuring scalability and responsiveness.
  • Establish and uphold robust security measures, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management. Configure and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Perform regular security assessments and penetration testing to guarantee adherence to security protocols and healthcare regulations.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency with Google Cloud services, especially Kubernetes/GKE.
  • Experience managing applications and infrastructure dependencies using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and GitOps workflows.
  • Strong grasp of networking principles and security measures, particularly for microservices architecture in a cloud-native context.
  • Advanced expertise in security monitoring, logging, automation, and configuration management tools to ensure service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Familiarity or willingness to learn about the healthcare sector, including healthcare economics, operational dynamics of healthcare providers, and data standards and regulations.
