Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify and develop business relationships with realtors, builders, and other professionals to generate new mortgage lending opportunities.
- Interview new and existing customers to determine their financial needs and advise them on appropriate products, terms, and pricing.
- Navigate borrowers through the loan process, gathering required information through clear and timely communication.
- Ensure accurate and compliant loan documentation, meeting industry regulations and sales goals.
- 3+ years of retail residential mortgage origination experience.
- Documented residential mortgage loans closed volume in the past 12 months of $750,000 - $1 million per month in production.
- Established relationships with local referral networks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.
- Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans.
- Strong PC skills and experience utilizing laptop technology.
- Must meet and comply with all requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of background checks and active NMLS licensure.
