Position Summary:
The role of the Purchasing Manager is critical, requiring a blend of technical and engineering knowledge to effectively liaise with suppliers about component specifications used in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of procurement and the integration of engineered solutions into manufacturing workflows.

  • Monitor market developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage purchase requisitions and orders as necessary.
  • Focus on acquiring materials that enhance quality while minimizing costs.
  • Supervise the Purchasing function in alignment with management objectives, ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders and delivery of components.
  • Track budget variances to maintain adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support the achievement of business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by relevant experience.
  • Experience in supply chain management.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including pivot tables, data analysis, and formula usage.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a high-volume production setting.
  • Strong negotiation and networking capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes such as stamping, machining, and injection molding.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
