We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Associate II to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. This role is responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for patients experiencing confusion, suicidal ideation, or other psychiatric conditions requiring close supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Observe assigned patients, maintaining a direct line of vision and communicating unusual occurrences to the responsible nurse.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment by documenting patient behavior, conducting room searches, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Orient patients and their families to the facility and its policies.
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
- Change bed linens, tidy rooms, and empty trash as needed.
- High School Diploma
- Current BLS Certification
- Current Washington State Certified Nurse Assistant license
- Previous patient care experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting
