About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aeropostale, Inc. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Store Manager to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Store Manager to create and implement action plans to achieve business goals and maximize sales.
  • Demonstrate expertise in product knowledge, selling skills, and operational procedures to drive sales and improve customer experience.
  • Engage with customers to build relationships and loyalty through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Support the development of team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Maintain high standards of store appearance, merchandising, and operations to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar volume, apparel business (preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends.
  • Occasional travel to other store locations may be required.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
