Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Sierra Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Assess the operating room/procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtain supplies for individual cases, and ensure all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are met.
- Monitor, position, and assist patients during procedures.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- At least one year of Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
