Job Title: Behavioral Health Crisis Clinical Supervisor

Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Crisis Clinical Supervisor to provide direct clinical supervision to the CHD Crisis team. This position works under the general supervision of the Behavioral Health Director and is responsible for supervising clinical staff and program development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor licensure/certification requirements and supervise clinical practice.
  • Hold staff accountable for performance measures, including productivity, timely documentation of clinical services, and compliance with Medicaid and other regulatory and funding authorities.
  • Responsible for client service delivery, including developing and implementing new services, complying with payer requirements, and determining caseload and service coverage/schedules.
  • Responsible for quality initiatives, including coordinating utilization review and management, coordinating clinical chart audits, conducting service evaluation, and implementing service improvements.
  • Act as liaison to Administrative Council, providing clinical knowledge and expertise, and proposing policy and practice.
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Work independently and within a self-managed team environment.
  • Maintain punctual and regular work attendance.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Practicing Counselor (LPC).
  • Three years of experience in a comparable position dedicated to quality/health improvement in a managed care organization or provider group or governmental agency or similar setting preferred.
  • At least two years' experience in dual diagnosis treatment or substance use disorder.
  • Ability to function in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Previous practice experience in a clinical setting.
  • Effective oral and written communication.
  • Must possess a valid Oregon Driver's license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meetings and/or trainings.
  • Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200-407-007-0370 and drug screening.
