Job Overview

Veritas Veterinary Partners is seeking dedicated Animal Care Technicians to enhance our Internal Medicine division.


The Veritas Veterinary Partners team consists of highly skilled professionals, including board-certified veterinarians and licensed veterinary technicians, all committed to delivering exceptional medical care across various specialties such as Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Emergency Care.


Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Animal Care Technician is to ensure outstanding care for the patients at Veritas Veterinary Partners, while also supporting veterinarians and medical staff, and maintaining the facility and its equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all fundamental tasks associated with the role of an Animal Care Technician.
  • Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs and behaviors.
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians, often providing support to multiple staff members during shifts.
  • Conduct and process various radiographic imaging while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Utilize and maintain medical equipment effectively.
  • Communicate professionally with clients.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of hospital areas, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Uphold client and patient confidentiality.
  • Meet or surpass performance expectations for quality and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Animal Care Technician in a veterinary setting is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and build long-term relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Dependable, organized, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
  • Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to exceptional client service.
  • Integrity, honesty, and a positive attitude.

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 7:30 AM - 5 PM


Compensation: Starting at $19/hour, commensurate with experience.
