Orthopaedic Surgeon Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to lead our multidisciplinary team in providing specialist orthopaedic services to patients. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting patient safety and quality of care, providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education to doctors in training, health service medical practitioners, and other health workers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist orthopaedic services to patients
- Promote patient safety and quality of care
- Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education to doctors in training, health service medical practitioners, and other health workers
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve national, state, and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets
- Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee (AMCC)
