Position Summary


Assistant Manager -Responsible for leading small teams in performing light housekeeping, heavy housekeeping, and laundry aide duties across various shifts.

Assists in training, quality control, and in-servicing of staff.

In the absence of the Account Manager, the Assistant Manager takes on the responsibility of overseeing and supervising the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site, adhering to policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations.

Safety -Utilize protective gear in all relevant tasks.

Assist in training staff on the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions while following all safety protocols.

Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to the supervisor promptly. Ensure compliance with established standards, safety, and quality guidelines.

Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment at all times.

Follow proper reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures/techniques. Assist in implementing training, quality control procedures, and in-servicing of housekeeping staff.
Punctuality -Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Complete assigned cleaning areas on schedule. Respond to the paging system promptly and appropriately.
Customer Experience -Represent HCSG positively by following instructions and being courteous and cooperative with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
Resident Experience -Engage in positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

Exhibit a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.

After completing all necessary training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill all responsibilities independently and safely.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Must be able to report to work as scheduled and on time.
Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Clients.

Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
Must reside within the service area.

$20.50 per hour is the compensation range for the position of Assistant Manager of Environmental Services. Offered hourly rates are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific operational needs of the facility serviced.
