Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital - St. Louis. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
  • Initiate appropriate nursing interventions and provide care tailored to the patient's condition and age
  • Document medical necessity in the medical record in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for each patient
  • Conduct Quality Improvement assessments
Requirements
  • Licensure in IL and MO
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • CRRN preferred
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
